We are a group of local women who formed this group with the following aims:

  • To increase their own understanding of women’s health issues.

  • To identify and work to improve services for women and girls in Lincolnshire.

  • To campaign for a Women's Health Strategy that will be centrally funded to provide accessible and sustainable
    joined-up services across a woman’s life course.

We held our first all-day public event on 18 April 2026 – Women's Health Day

Below are some pictures of our event

We were honoured that Baroness Merron of Lincoln, Minster for Women's Health, gave the opening address on The Government's Renewed Women's Health Strategy.

There were ten stalls from local providers and support groups – Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board, Lincolnshire Sleep Hub, One You Lincolnshire, Peri Peri Menopause Moments Project, Lincolnshire Training Hub, Menopause Support, Shine Lincolnshire, Lincoln Hygiene Bank, Co-op Pharmacy and Green Synergy.

There were talks and demonstrations covering such topics as Diet: its role in promoting a healthy lifestyle, Health Screening and Vaccination, Navigating the Menopause, Getting a Good Night's Sleep, Therapeutic Horticulture, and Mindfulness and Relaxation.

We wish to thank Baroness Merron, organisations and presenters and their time and commitment.  Thanks are also due to Grafton House for making the event run smoothly, and Lincolnshire Co-op for the gift of fruit.
